Following an incident in which a player was seemingly handed a no-strings-attached Minecraft alt-account and was then stripped of their supplies, a change has been made to the HCMCPVP ruleset, rendering the sharing of account information a bannable offense, with a 30 day minimum ban time.

The complete rule is as follows:
If you are contacted by anyone in-game, on the forums, or on our discord, offering you account information relating to Minecraft accounts, or any other accounts, do not accept and report that offense to staff immediately, either using the Support Ticket System, or by alerting us in-game or on discord.

This is a good time to refer you to the official HCMCPVP rules, so you don't accidentally commit a bannable offense without knowing it:

Stay safe!
Hey all,

today marks the day of the beginning of the HCMCPVP Easter Feast 2018!

For the entire remaining month of April, you will be able to participate in the event, collect small amounts of credits by playing on the server, and shoot for the big jackpot of up to 5,000 credits at the end of the month!

Collect Easter Eggs & Compete Against Others!

Until April 30th, you can collect Easter Eggs on both Mythic Survival and Dungeons, and depending on how many you have at the end of the month, you'll get a final prize of up to 5,000 credits.

Mythic Survival
On Mythic Survival, you can find Easter Eggs in chests or as boss loot, just like any other special item. They're classified as rare items, so you should see them quite often, depending on your loot boost.

In Dungeons, every monster you kill in a regular dungeon attack has a chance to reward you with an easter egg. You don't need to pick it up or anything, it'll automatically get delivered to you.

The Final Prize
The total number of Easter Eggs everyone has collected is kept secret until the end of April, at which point the top 10 players' final score will be shared publicly. Those players will also receive a reward of up to 5,000 credits, with 12,000 credits being given away in total. You can use them for anything you want, even premium!

Now go get on HCMCPVP and start collecting eggs!
These changes are now live.

Hey all,

it's not the full professions update yet, but spellbooks have already been revamped!

Here's the full details of the changes in this update:

Special Item Changes
  • Easter Egg: New rare item. Available only during the Easter Feast (all of April) of each year. Right Click: Add 10 credits to your account and increase your event score by 1. This item cannot be used outside of the Easter Feast.
  • Spellstone: Removed. Clicking an existing Spellstone will transform it into Depleted Spellstone, which is purely a novelty item. Players with existing Spellstones will not receive a replacement for any Spellbooks they used on it.
  • All Spellbooks: Changed so that they are now usable by themselves. Spellbooks have 5 charges, after which they are depleted and are destroyed. Right-Clicking with an old Spellbook in hand *should* transform it into its newer counterpart.
  • Tome of Arcane Knowledge: New legendary item. Right Click: Increase your Arcanology skill by 1, up to a maximum of 10. This greatly empowers spellbook power, duration & damage.
  • Totem of Safekeeping: New legendary item. If this is in your inventory when you die, you get to keep its contents and this gets destroyed.*
  • Overcharged Ender Pearl: Removed. Existing copies will transform into Totem of Safekeeping when clicked in the inventory.
*note that if you happen to have multiple totems in your inventory upon dying, all of them will be destroyed. Totems do not activate if they are inside shulker boxes.

As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Hey all,

I realize I'm a bit late to the party with this as I was sick over last weekend. But that doesn't mean we can't celebrate at all!

Starting this Friday (April 6th), you will be able to participate in HCMCPVP's Easter Feast event, and win up to 5,000 credits! The total prize pool is going to be 12,000 credits for everyone who participates, more details on that below!

From April 6th all the way through April 30th, you will be able to collect Easter Eggs on both Survival and Dungeons, which will count towards your event score. After April 30th, the top 10 players with the highest event scores will be rewarded as follows:
  • Top 1: 5,000 credits
  • Top 2: 2,500 credits
  • Top 3: 1,000 credits
  • Top 4-10: 500 credits
How to get these eggs?

On Mythic Survival, the following new item will be added temporarily:
  • Easter Egg: New rare item. Right Click: Add 10 credits to your account. Increase your event score by 1. Visit for more info.
On Dungeons, killing any monster in /attack mode has a chance to award you with an easter egg, which will automatically add 10 credits to your account and increase your event score by 1.

Note that the chances of obtaining an easter egg in both modes is very similar, so it doesn't matter which one you prefer playing.

Once the event is live, the leaderboards will display a separate ranking for event scores, so look out for that!

See you on the servers!
Hey all,

I'm sorry to say I have to postpone the Mythic Survival update a little bit. It's largely finished, but completely untested as of right now, because I've been 'given' a few more tasks at uni I have to take care of.

It should be up and running by April 20th, but will likely be done earlier than that.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey all,

today there have been some minor changes to the Dungeons game mode. Here is the list:
  • Gold cap has been increased to 20,000 starting and 1,000 per extra level.
  • The above change causes daily free gold to increase proportionally as well, so you should expect more free gold!
  • New players now start with 10,000 gold.
  • Fixed a bug that caused /shop battle to be inaccessible for some players.
See you on the servers!
Hey all,

this is just to let you know that I'm aware of the issue of player skins not being displayed correctly on the leaderboards and player profiles.

The cause of the issue is that Mojang have changed the way Minecraft skins are stored. Good thing they let everyone know beforehand in a news post, NOT.

Not only did they not announce it, they also did not provide any information as to how we are now supposed to obtain new skin data.

As everything relating to Minecraft on this website is handmade by me, I'm going to have to investigate this myself. I think I already found the new way they are storing their skins, but rewriting the modules that are responsible for displaying skins on this site is going to be a bit of a pain in my ass to say the least.

It's not a priority right now for me anyway, as I'm currently focusing on the new Mythic Survival update. I'll let you know once it's fixed.
These changes are not live yet. They will be live on March 9th, 2018.

Hey all,

it's about time for another Mythic Survival update! This update is going to introduce a whole new game mechanic & a new way to spend your time to Mythic Survival!

Professions are a new type of content coming to Mythic Survival. Think of them like little side-projects to spend your time on, besides mining & looting chests! They are partly inspired by mcMMO-like mechanics, but don't actually use any of these systems.

Starting March 9th, there will be 3 professions coming to Mythic Survival. You have to do nothing to acquire them, everybody starts with them! However, you may need some special items to start working with them.

New Profession: Archaeology

This profession will require you to use the new uncommon special item Fantastic Digger, which can be looted from mobs & chests. The item itself is a shovel, and can be used to dig (like any other), but also has a special right-click ability, which allows you to find digsites in desert biomes.

Digsites consist of various nodes, which are revealed by right-clicking with the Fantastic Digger in your hand. Upon doing so, you will be directed towards the nearest node. If standing very close to it when using the digger, a glowing effect will appear above one of the near sand blocks, indicating the node's exact location. Once you see the glowing effect, you can dig up the node to receive a special item of random rarity (guaranteed at least uncommon)!

Nodes are not affected by your loot boost, but by your Archaeology profession level (which increases every time you dig up a node). Digsites are per-player and the server remembers where you have successfully dug already, so if you find a node, you'll need to move on to find another.

There are some special items that are exclusive...

Hey all,

over the past couple months, Dungeons has undergone massive changes in terms of balancing, matchmaking, and other tweaks here and there.

Today however, it is a vastly different game mode, but still suffers from one of the problems that presented itself early on in its lifespan. The problem I'm talking about is the massive gold rush that occurred near the end of 2017, caused by the old daily gold bonus system, and heaps of inactive players that continued to pile up mountains of gold while still having the default dungeons.

This lead to a massive surplus in gold availability, and caused Dungeons' economy to get totally out of whack. Today, a new player can join the game mode and instantly max out his/her battle gear within mere hours of gameplay, which is simply not the intended way.

It has become clear to me that this issue had to be tackled somehow, but it is difficult to attempt and reset the entire economy, without inevitably negatively impacting the gameplay of players who do play on Dungeons regularly, and without the shadow of a doubt deserve the gold they have earned so far.

I have come up with the following system to try and bring back the natural progression curve the game was always intended to have. While I tried minimizing the impact this would have on existing players, it surely can't be avoided at all. There are two problems that have to be solved: 1. The massive supply of gold, and 2. The value of gold as it is.

Gold Cap

When trying to tackle the massive supply of gold, I came up with three solutions.
  • 1. Reset everyone's gold back to the starting amount (1,000)
  • 2. Make it so that attacks no longer award gold. (only way to acquire gold is through the daily attack bonus)
  • 3. Implement a gold cap.
A gold cap will cut back on the gold that is currently in supply, but will still make sure that players who already looted...
The day has finally come.

This season has been going on forever due to my inability to perform a proper honor reset.

Well, that's over now! I have just given all the top 50 players 1,000 FREE credits for their performance, and reset everyone's honor, FINALLY!

For the coming seasons, I will write an automated script that will run once a month and perform the honor reset automatically, so I am no longer a factor in it.

Due to the new premium systems, the new leaderboard rewards will be as follows:

Top 1: 1,500 Credits
Top 2: 1,000 Credits
Top 3: 500 Credits

Feels good to finally have something accomplished at the end of a long day. Now excuse me, while I go collapse in a corner :)
